Profici News, June 2021: In this month’s Profici monthly roundup, we look back on everything from welcoming a host of new starters and apprentices, to our videographer, Mike, who ran an incredible 70k in 24 hours and completed the 24hr Conti Thunder Run, to embarking upon the selection process of picking our next charity to partner with.
We love looking back over the previous month’s achievements as it’s good to see the hard work the team have put in.
So, without further ado, let’s get going.
Profici Welcomes Three New Starters
Overview: In late July, we welcomed three new team members including two apprentices and a Relationship Manager, all of whom bring a host of exciting skills and talents to the team.
Our new Relationship Manager, Alex, has both a wealth of experience and a little black book to match. “It’s been great meeting everyone, getting to know how everything works and generally settling in,” said Alex, before adding: “It’s clear to see that I’m joining Profici at an amazing time in its journey and so, to have a hand in shaping its future is very, very exciting.”
Furthermore, we also welcomed Lucy, our new Junior Graphic Designer, and Michael, our new Junior Web Developer. It was also Lucy’s birthday on only her second day with us and so, we gifted her a big chocolate cake and a £100 Liverpool One voucher.
Both are starting out on their careers, and we are very happy to play a part in that journey.
Mike Completes the 24hr Conti Thunder Run
Overview: July also saw our videographer, Mike, complete the 24hr Conti Thunder Run, running a mind-boggling 70k in one day.
And so, while the rain poured down and spirits remained high, Mike was able to post a seriously impressive time. We’re very proud of Mike as we know how hard he’s been training for this event and seeing his transformation has been amazing.
Given a much-deserved day off on Monday, Mike still joined our morning meeting to tell us all about his achievement and show off his medal too.
Process Begins to Choose our New Charity Partner
Overview: Every year, we chose a charity to partner with and support by providing them with constant marketing guidance and a brand-new website.
This month, we started the process of compiling a list of amazing, well-deserving charities including those who work within the homelessness, suicide prevention, literacy and mental health sectors respectively.
Partnering with a charity is something we take very serious here at Profici, so much so that all our team have a say on who we partner with.
Poster Design for Impact Sports UK Group
Overview: This July, our Graphic Designer, Ross, designed a wonderful poster for the Impact Sports UK Group. Marrying a mixture of dark greens, sharp whites and vibrant yellows, the poster looks very impressive.
We can’t wait to see Ross’ work in and around the city centre this summer.
Profici Monthly Roundup – July, 2021
We hope you enjoyed our monthly Profici roundup for July. This month, we also discussed how Liverpool lost its World Heritage Status, devoured our body weight in Krispy Kreme doughnuts thanks to a fabulous client, and welcomed our new team members with a trip to Rudy’s Pizzeria.
