    Emma

With 25 years of experience in PR and journalism, Emma has worked on advertorial campaigns with brands including Next, GAP and Burt’s Bees. Starting out as a local news reporter, she went on to edit Concept For Living (which was the north’s best-selling homes and gardens magazine at that time) and to write a column for RIBA Magazine.

In 2011, Emma founded His & Hers Magazine, and built that brand while writing occasional freelance features for a broad mix of publications – from the Guardian to an international football magazine.

Having established herself as an experienced journalist and editor, Emma then went on to use her experience in the publishing industry to help other businesses to stand out and get their stories seen.

In 2010 she took on her first PR client (Jazz Events, an established North West business which she’s proud to work with to promote events including the Northern Design Awards to this day). Emma has since worked with a broad range of PR clients – from a children’s author to a leading structural warranty provider.

Emma offers a range of services – from an initial PR coaching session for clients who want a fresh pair of eyes, plus some expert advice and encouragement to help them define their PR goals, to a full PR service on a monthly retainer and one-off project work.

She’s fascinated by getting to know about the business owners she works with and with finding creative ways to help them stand out.
