About Ragnhild

Ragnhild Lund Ansnes (or Ronnie to us) is an author, journalist, motivational speaker and broadcaster so we are so happy that Ronnie joined the team to help with the content and also bring her creative expertise. She is the author of three books about Liverpool FC and was the editor for the Norwegian translation of Bill Shankly’s autobiography and she is currently writing Bruce Grobbelaar’s autobiography.

Her specialty is storytelling (a powerful tool in marketing and sales) and to make people open up in conversations with her – for books, on stage, for TV, podcasts and radio.

She is from the arctic north of Norway, married with two children and lives Liverpool, where she has just opened Anfield’s first football hotel together with her husband and other dedicated Liverpool fans. Hotel TIA (This is Anfield), is a family friendly cultural meeting place, with a pub, a hospitality lounge and beer garden – and the hotel is almost like a living football museum.

In Ragnhild’s talks she speaks about the power of football and human challenges, about working with passion and dedication – going from hating football to becoming the first female to write official books for Liverpool Football Club, (and possibly the first woman in the world to write official books for a club in Premier League.) She talks about leadership and team building and her own unique journey into football, with the strengths and challenges of being an outsider.
